Youtube is a fantastic tool for driving traffic and in my experience consistently delivers engaged traffic so optimizing any of the content is a win win.
 
This is where you come in.

You can offer keyword research specifically for Youtube optimization and there are a bunch of tools that can help you do this.

How To Find Amazing YouTube Keywords

YTCockPit searches for keywords with high search volume and low competition.

Sign up and then go to New Keyword Search-



You can then enter your seed keyword in the keyword phrase section.
 
Next, you should enable the Youtube suggest section.
 
Using Youtube suggestion is a very simple and easy way to find keywords.

If you were doing this manually you would just type your keyword into the search bar then add different letters and see what suggestions Youtube makes.

However, by enabling the Youtube Suggest function, Ytcockpit does it automatically for you.



Make sure the target language and location settings are correct then hit save and close.
 
You will then get a list of keyword ideas closely related to your seed keyword.

You can then see all the stats and pull out the keywords that are will offer the most benefits to your clients.

For those of you that don’t know, Bing is an alternative search engine to Google created by Microsoft.

You can offer this service by using Bing’s own Webmaster tool which is 100% free!
 
Just create your account and log in.
 
Click on Diagnostics and Tools then Keyword Research
 
Enter your seed keywords and pick out the ones with good search volume-

You can add a number of filters to your searches.

Language/location is a good one to focus on and you can select more than one.

For example, Canada, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom combined with English will give you a much wider selection to target.
 
If you click on the phrase it will refine the data and if you click any column title it will sort either alphabetically or by number, whichever is relevant.
 
You can also decide whether you want only keywords strictly relating to the phrase you entered or if you want a broader list of suggestions. Just check or uncheck the “Strict’ box as needed.
